The Art of Lesbian and Queer Love with Dr. Lauren

As a psychologist, author, educator, and advocate, my journey has been deeply intertwined with the lesbian and queer women's community. From the outset, my path has been guided by a profound commitment to uplifting and empowering individuals within this vibrant and resilient community and supporting them in finding the partnership they truly deserve.

Does this sound like you?

You are heartbroken, and I don't think you'll ever feel like yourself again. You're worried you are going to feel this awful for the rest of your life.

You don't understand why you can't get away from her even though deep down you know she is not healthy for you.

You have fallen hard many times and always end up getting hurt. You can’t go through that anymore, but you don’t want to give up on love.

You have given your heart to women you thought you could trust, only to find out later that they are not trustworthy or incapable of being a safe partner.

You lose yourself in relationships, forgetting what you need because you are so busy taking care of her feelings, needs, and problems.

You are tired of dating sites and disappointed with women who are not interested in serious relationships or are serial hunters.

Despite being successful and confident in many areas of your life, true love and trustworthy intimacy continue to evade you.

Let's take a
closer look

You have a successful career and are good at many things or you are in school and moving towards your dreams. This part of your life is clear.

Your friends tell you that you are a catch.

You have many great relationships, many friends, and a connection (even if complicated) to your family.

People love you! Your life is complete in so many ways.

You embrace challenges and are driven to overcome obstacles.

But...

Despite all your attempts to fix it, the same problems in relationships keep happening.

You feel ashamed or broken and are finding it difficult to address these issues head-on.

You can't stop thinking, "Something must be wrong with me."

The Good News Is...

You are not alone. There is a solution. Because you are not afraid to work on yourself, there is something you can do about it!

Hi I'm
Dr. Lauren

I have been in the psychology and healing field for over 24 years. I am a depth-oriented therapist, relationship coach, and leading expert on the lesbian and queer psyche. My book, "Lesbian Love Addiction: Understanding the Urge to Merge and How to Heal When Things Go Wrong," is the only one of its kind dealing with the unique issues women who love women and non-binary folks face in intimacy and relationships.

My specialty

I work with lesbians, queer women, transwomen, and non-binary folks targeting what gets in the way of having a loving, passionate, secure relationship. I have helped countless lesbians and queer women heal broken hearts, toxic relationships and overcome their obstacles to finding healthy and sustainable love. I have been with my partner for ten years - married six, and this is the healthiest, most vital, most intimate relationship I have ever had.

"The impact of Dr. Lauren's program and coaching extends well beyond learning to become a person capable of a successful and committed relationship. Her program provides a framework for personal learning, development, growth, and change. It has catalyzed growth in every aspect of my personal and professional life. In just a few short weeks, I met my goal of 'getting my fiancée back.' We are stronger together than we've ever been, and I'm so grateful to Dr. Lauren."

Lesbian Affirmative Therapy

Lesbian-affirmative psychotherapy focuses on helping individuals heal from the negative impacts of growing up in a world that can be discriminating towards lesbians, queer women, and non-binary folks. It increases self-esteem, sense of self, and feelings of self-love by confronting the damaging effects of growing up in a misogynistic, sexist, heterosexist, and homophobic world.
